王鵬堯博士自2008年起擔(dān)任臺(tái)灣SWEETEK公司的首席執(zhí)行官至今。他在臺(tái)灣成功大學(xué)獲得環(huán)境工程碩士學(xué)位。并于1997年獲得哈佛公共衛(wèi)生學(xué)院環(huán)境衛(wèi)生博士學(xué)位。之后，曾任臺(tái)灣中央大學(xué)環(huán)境工程研究所副教授十年。2008年，他決定開(kāi)創(chuàng)自己的事業(yè)，成立了SWEETEK公司。他在2012年加入臺(tái)灣物聯(lián)網(wǎng)聯(lián)盟（TIOTA），擔(dān)任秘書(shū)長(zhǎng)。自2013年起在北京大學(xué)軟件與微電子學(xué)院無(wú)錫基地?fù)?dān)任專(zhuān)業(yè)講師及碩士生導(dǎo)師，擁有美國(guó)和臺(tái)灣授權(quán)的15項(xiàng)專(zhuān)利。他也在專(zhuān)業(yè)期刊發(fā)表了20多篇期刊論文(SCI論文)。他的大部分專(zhuān)利都被應(yīng)用于專(zhuān)業(yè)行業(yè)中，例如用于霧霾監(jiān)測(cè)的PM2.5連續(xù)環(huán)境質(zhì)量監(jiān)測(cè)方法（CAMM）專(zhuān)利被國(guó)際監(jiān)測(cè)大廠(chǎng)所采用，用于工人安全的人員定位系統(tǒng)（MDL）則成為SWEETEK公司主力產(chǎn)品之一。他的研究興趣涉及測(cè)量方法、無(wú)線(xiàn)通訊、物聯(lián)網(wǎng)（IOT）和智能系統(tǒng)等領(lǐng)域，應(yīng)用范圍包括：環(huán)境監(jiān)測(cè)、能源管理、毒物管理、安全生產(chǎn)、智能長(zhǎng)照等等域。他過(guò)去研發(fā)的網(wǎng)絡(luò)直播系統(tǒng)（SNG網(wǎng)絡(luò)工作室）于2005年獲得臺(tái)灣地區(qū)最高的質(zhì)量獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)：臺(tái)灣精品獎(jiǎng)及國(guó)家質(zhì)量獎(jiǎng)銀質(zhì)獎(jiǎng)?wù)?，并已成功銷(xiāo)售到美國(guó)、日本、加拿大等國(guó)際市場(chǎng)。在2012年任職于臺(tái)灣新竹市智慧城市辦公室執(zhí)行秘書(shū)期間，將該市的智慧城市推上一的新里程，并于2013年獲得國(guó)際智慧城市論壇（ICF）年度TOP7大獎(jiǎng)，王博士在學(xué)術(shù)研究、產(chǎn)品設(shè)計(jì)、企業(yè)經(jīng)營(yíng)及城市規(guī)劃上均有杰出表現(xiàn)。
Dr. Peng-Yau, Eric, Wang is the CEO of the SWEETEK INC, Taiwan since 2008. He received his master degree of Environmental Engineering in National Cheng-Kung University, Taiwan. And then obtained his doctoral degree in Environmental Health, Harvard School of Public Health in 1997. After that, he served as an associate professor in the Institute of Environment Engineering, National Central University, Taiwan for 10 years. In 2008, he decided to start his own business and established the SWEETEK Inc. Now he joined the Taiwan Internet-of-Things Alliance(TIOTA) as a secretary-general in 2012, and has been the academic lecturer of the school of software and microelectronics of Peking University since 2013. He has possessed more than 13 patents granted by both America and Taiwan. He also published more than 20 peer-reviewed journals papers during his professional year in the university. Most of his patents were applied in the industry, such as the continuous ambient mass monitor (CAMM) for PM2.5 and the man-down-locator (MDL) system for worker’s safety. His Research Interests relate to methods for measuring time-activity patterns of workers, energy monitoring systems, internet of things(IoT), and smart systems. His distance learning system (SNG network studio) has won the award of national silver medal of quality design in 2005, and has been successfully opened its international markets, such as America, Japan, Canada and so on. During his service as the executive secretary in the smart city office of HsinChu, the city won the award of Smart21 of Intelligent Community Forum(ICF) in 2012 and the TOP7 in 2013.
