報(bào)告摘要Sensors, and in particular microsensors, are key compounds for smart systems of all kind. In particular, it is of high technological interest to develop new (bio)chemical sensors, for which also new sensory principles need to be developed. In the past years, so-called self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) have been established as very versatile tool for the manufacture of sensors. These films have a thickness of only one molecule (typically 1-2 nm) and have a surprisingly high stability. The properties of these surface bound layers can be fine-tuned by molecular design.

 

In this talk, I want to present a family of combinatorial electrochemical sensors, for the production of which SAMs are a very versatile tool. These sensors can be used to screen chemical processes by supplying very large amount of data, which in turn can be utilized to control and optimize the respective processes. In a second part, a new sensory principle will be presented, where the SAMs themselves provide the recognition and selection principle. The latter approach is very fast and sensitive and allows integration in existing microelectronic circuitry.

Andreas Terfort博士,德國(guó)法蘭克福大學(xué)無(wú)機(jī)與分析化學(xué)系教授,無(wú)機(jī)與分析化學(xué)研究所副所長(zhǎng),表面化學(xué)系主任,德國(guó)科學(xué)基金會(huì)、歐盟-FP7基金、Minerva基金、石油研究基金評(píng)審專(zhuān)家及多個(gè)頂級(jí)雜志的審稿人(包括Nature, Science, Nature Materials, AngewandteChemie, Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Advanced Foundational Materials等)。曾獲得北德青年學(xué)術(shù)獎(jiǎng)、德國(guó)Carl-Duisberg化學(xué)紀(jì)念獎(jiǎng)等榮譽(yù)。Andreas Terfort教授長(zhǎng)期在基于自組裝単分子層(SAMs)的通用表面化學(xué)處理技術(shù)、器件表面功能化處理技術(shù)、微納米級(jí)晶體管與傳感器研制等領(lǐng)域開(kāi)展研究。研究工作受到德國(guó)科學(xué)基金會(huì)(DFG)重大科研基金、BeilsteinStiftung (Nano-BIC)基金、大眾基金會(huì)(VW foundation)的項(xiàng)目資金支持,累計(jì)科研經(jīng)費(fèi)超過(guò)142.9萬(wàn)歐元。

Andreas Terfort教授領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的課題組在SAMs的合成、機(jī)理及應(yīng)用,金屬有機(jī)框架化合物(MOF)研究,先進(jìn)化學(xué)傳感器制備等領(lǐng)域的研究成果備受矚目,發(fā)表的約137篇高水平論文(其中發(fā)表在Nature 1篇,Science 1篇),近十年被引超過(guò)6300次,個(gè)人H因子達(dá)57;其研究組開(kāi)展的自組裝単分子層的合成、機(jī)理及應(yīng)用,表面貼裝有機(jī)框架(SURMOF)化合物的研究是MOF領(lǐng)域的最前沿、最具影響力的研究工作。
