報(bào)告題目: A New and Enhanced Semidefinite Relaxation for a Class of Nonconvex Complex Quadratic Problems with Applications in Wireless Communications
報(bào)告摘要: In this talk, we shall consider a special class of nonconvex Complex Quadratic Problems (CQP), which finds many important and interesting applications in wireless communications. In this talk, we shall first develop a new and Enhanced Complex SemiDefinite Program, called ECSDP, for the considered CQP and then apply the ECSDP to MIMO detection, a fundamental problem in modern wireless communications. As our main result, we show the tightness of the ECSDP for MIMO detection under an easily checkable condition. This result answers an open question posed by So in 2010. Based on the ECSDP, we can also develop a branch-and-bound algorithm for globally solving the MIMO detection problem (even though the above condition does not hold true).
報(bào)告嘉賓簡(jiǎn)介：劉亞鋒，中國(guó)科學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)與系統(tǒng)科學(xué)研究院副研究員。2007年畢業(yè)于西安電子科技大學(xué)理學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)系，2012年在中國(guó)科學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)與系統(tǒng)科學(xué)研究院獲得博士學(xué)位（導(dǎo)師：戴彧虹研究員）；博士期間，受中國(guó)科學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)與系統(tǒng)科學(xué)研究院資助訪(fǎng)問(wèn)明尼蘇達(dá)大學(xué)羅智泉教授一年。畢業(yè)后，一直在中國(guó)科學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)與系統(tǒng)科學(xué)研究院計(jì)算數(shù)學(xué)所工作。主要研究興趣是最優(yōu)化理論與算法及其在信號(hào)處理和無(wú)線(xiàn)通信等領(lǐng)域中的應(yīng)用，已在Mathematical Programming, SIAM Journal on Optimization, Mathematics of Operations Research等優(yōu)化頂級(jí)期刊以及 IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Information Theory等IEEE交叉領(lǐng)域頂級(jí)期刊發(fā)表論文三十余篇。曾獲2011年國(guó)際通信大會(huì)“最佳論文獎(jiǎng)”（由IEEE通信學(xué)會(huì)頒發(fā)），2015年WiOpt (International Symposium on Modeling and Optimization in Mobile, Ad Hoc and Wireless Networks)“最佳學(xué)生論文獎(jiǎng)”，2018年數(shù)學(xué)與系統(tǒng)科學(xué)研究院“陳景潤(rùn)未來(lái)之星”，2018年中國(guó)運(yùn)籌學(xué)會(huì)“青年科技獎(jiǎng)”等。目前擔(dān)任《Journal of Global Optimization》期刊的客座編委，IEEE高級(jí)會(huì)員（Senior Member）、亞太信號(hào)與信息處理學(xué)會(huì)（Asia-Pacific Signal and Information Processing Association）無(wú)線(xiàn)通信和網(wǎng)絡(luò)（Wireless Communications and Networking）方向的技術(shù)委員會(huì)成員（Technical Committee）。
